This period is characterized by a lack of agriculture and only vaguely defined pastoral practices, making the definition of a regional Neolithic economy a subject of debate. In this presentation, we propose to explore another aspect of the cultural evolution of human societies in Eastern Arabia at the beginning of the Holocene: ancient maritime adaptations.
