2005 (April) - Abu Dhabi Islands Archaeological Survey, Umm az-Zumul (Kharimat Khor Al Manahil and Khor Al Manahil), United Arab Emirates (Neolithic desert settlement and lithic scatters) - Role and Reponsibilities: worked with Dr Anja Zander (Marburg University , Germany) and Dr Heiko Kallweit (Freiburg, Germany) undertaking OSL samples from various sites at Umm az-Zamul.

2005 (November) - Abu Dhabi Islands Archaeological Survey, field visit to Umm Al-Ishtan in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. Role and Reponsibilities: together with Peter Hellyer, to investigate further Late Miocene elephant bones.

2006 (January) - Abu Dhabi Islands Archaeological Survey, Umm az-Zumul (Kharimat Khor Al Manahil and Khor Al Manahil), United Arab Emirates (Neolithic desert settlement and lithic scatters) - Role and Reponsibilities: Co-director with Dr Heiko Kallweit (Freiburg, Germany), Richard Cuttler and Dr Walid Yasin Al-Tikriti (Al Ain, U.A.E.).

2006 (February) - Abu Dhabi Islands Archaeological Survey, carried out limited survey and pottery pick-up on Sadiyat island. Role and Reponsibilities: worked together with Dr Heiko Kallweit (Freiburg, Germany) and Richard Cuttler (Birmingham Archaeology, U.K.) on the mapping and investigation of largely Late Islamic period sites on Sadiyat island.

2006 (February) - Abu Dhabi Islands Archaeological Survey, Umm Al-Ishtan. Role and Reponsibilities: Carried out mapping, excavation and then field conservation and lifting of three large Late Miocene elephant bones, together with Dr John Stewart and Dr Heiko Kallweit.

2006 (March) - Kuwaiti/Slovak Archaeological Mission on Failaka island, Kuwait. Role and Reponsibilities: Zooarchaeologist, carrying out, together with Zora Miklikova, a preliminary analysis of the animal bone assemblage from the Bronze age/Dilmun period settlement being currently excavated at Al-Khidr.

2006 (April) - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, together with Dr Walid Yasin (ADACH), visit to Umm al-Ishtan to evaluate Late Miocene fossil sites.

2006 (September) - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, survey of archaeological sites in Eastern Region of Abu Dhabi emirate.

2006 (November) - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, together with Dr Walid Yasin (ADACH) and Dr Julie and Dr William Scott-Jackson - brief survey and evaluation of Palaeolithic sites in Western Region of Abu Dhabi emirate, including Jebel Barakah, Shuweihat and Hamra.

2006 (December) - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, together with Dr Walid Yasin (ADACH), Prof. Andrew Hill and Faysal Bibi of Yale University - investigation of Late Miocene fossil sites in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi emirate. Role and Reponsibilities: Surveying and mapping of all existing fossil sites for an evaluation report.

2007 (March) - Kuwaiti/Slovak Archaeological Mission on Failaka island, Kuwait. Role and Reponsibilities: Zooarchaeologist, carrying out, together with Zora Miklikova, analysis of the fish bone assemblage from the Bronze age/Dilmun period settlement being currently excavated at Al-Khidr. Assisted with the construction of a comparative collection of marine fish skeletons.

2008 (April-May) - Investigation of Late Islamic period desert sites (Tawi Beduwa Shwaiba and Al Mari) in Abu Dhabi emirate, together with Professor Tatsuo Sasaki and Dr Hanae Sasaki, and colleagues from the ADACH Al Ain department. Role and Reponsibilities: Surveying, Mapping and Environmental sampling of localities. Animal bones and marine shells currently being analysed.

2008 (May) - Bayunah Camel bone site. Together with Dr Marjan Mashkour, carried out preliminary investigation of this prehistoric wild camel bone site.

2009 (March) - Kuwaiti/Slovak Archaeological Mission on Failaka island, Kuwait. Brief visit for weekend to see ongoing results of analysis of material from the Al-Khidr and Al-Qussur excavations.

2010 (January) - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, together with Prof. Andrew Hill and Faysal Bibi of Yale University, and Dr Brian Kraatz of the American Museum of Natural History (New York) - investigation of Late Miocene fossil sites in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi emirate. Role and Reponsibilities: Surveying and excavation of fossil localities.

2011 (January) - Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage, together with Prof. Andrew Hill and Marilyn Fox (Yale), Dr Faysal Bibi (Poitier), Dr Brian Kraatz (Western University), Dr Matthieu Schuster (Poitiers) and Dr Nathan Craig (Penn State University) - investigation of Late Miocene fossil sites in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi emirate. Role and Reponsibilities: Surveying and excavation of fossil localities.

Current activities:
Between July 2006 up until the present time I have been involved with more than 360 Preliminary Cultural Review (PCR) surveys for the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage. These have ranged from one day up to a week in duration, and have covered a wide area throughout Abu Dhabi emirate, including Sila, Sabkha Matti, Umm Al-Ishtan, Bida Al-Mutawaa, Ghayathi, Jebel Dhanna, Ruwais, Delma Island, Marawah Island, Medinat Zayed, Liwa, Shah, Bab, Habshan, Mirfa, Mafraq, Abu Dhabi Island, Rheem Island, Saadiyat Island, Yas Island (Habel Al-Abyadh), Shahama, Tawila, Ajban, Al Ain and Jabeeb. Role and Reponsibilities: Survey Director, GIS mapping and report preparation.
